Quality Control

End-to-end quality control for fasteners and machined parts—IQC, IPQC, FQC/OQC, AQL sampling, calibrated gauges and full traceability on request.

Quality Control - Hextro Technology

Our Approach

We combine prevention and verification. That means clear specs up front, controlled processes in production, and final checks that match your application and risk level.

Incoming Quality Control (IQC)

Verify material and finish against purchase specs and drawings
Visual check for damage, plating defects or contamination
Sampling per AQL (general inspection level II unless specified)
Records linked to lot numbers for traceability

In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)

First-article inspection at setup; approval before mass run
Hourly checks for critical dimensions and threads; tool wear tracking
SPC on key features when volume is high or tolerance is tight
Immediate containment and feedback if any drift is detected

Final / Outgoing Quality (FQC / OQC)

100% visual for head/drive damage, burrs and obvious defects
Functional checks: thread GO/NO-GO, fit with mating parts if required
Dimensional spot checks per AQL prior to packing
Optional documents: dimensional report, hardness/strength data, RoHS/REACH statements, material cert

AQL Sampling (default, unless your PO specifies otherwise)

Inspection level: General II
Typical AQL: 0.65–1.0 for critical/major; 1.5–2.5 for minor (adjustable per project)
Example: Lot size 3,201–10,000 → sample 125 pcs; accept 2 / reject 3 at AQL 0.65 (critical)
(We follow your required plan if you specify a standard or acceptance number.)

Gauges & Equipment (typical)

Vernier & digital calipers, micrometers, height gauge
Pin/plug gauges; ring gauges; metric & inch thread GO/NO-GO
Torque wrenches/drivers; pull/push gauges (as needed)
Rockwell hardness tester (as required by spec)
Optical comparator (projector) for profiles
Salt-spray chamber (NSS) for finish validation upon request
(All measuring tools are calibrated on schedule; records kept by serial.)

Finish & Appearance Control

Zinc/black oxide/nickel/stainless parts checked for color tone, coverage and cosmetic surfaces
Adhesive/nylon thread-locking patches inspected for position and coverage
Stainless parts can be passivated per request; test reports available

Packaging Quality

Correct count and labeling (part no., size, lot/date)
Inner bags protect threads and heads; VCI/anti-rust where needed
Cartons edge-protected and palletized for export; drop-test on new pack designs

Non-Conformance & CAPA

Immediate containment, sorting and 100% re-inspection if needed
Root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D style on request)
Preventive actions logged to avoid recurrence across similar parts

Compliance & Documentation

RoHS/REACH compliance available
Material certificates and dimensional reports per lot upon request
PPAP for OEM projects if specified in the RFQ/PO

How to Specify QC in Your RFQ

Drawing with units/tolerances; finish and thickness
Critical features and required reports (e.g., hardness, salt-spray hours)
AQL levels if different from our default; any special gauges or fit tests
Packing and labeling rules (kits, barcode, private label)
