Machine screws with pre-applied nylon locking patches are designed to provide additional resistance to loosening in threaded assemblies.
The nylon material is bonded to a selected area of the screw thread. During installation, the patch is compressed against the mating internal thread, creating friction that helps resist rotational loosening.
Unlike liquid threadlocking adhesives, the nylon patch is dry and requires no curing time after assembly.
