All-metal lock nuts are prevailing-torque nuts designed for applications where nylon insert lock nuts may not be suitable due to heat, chemicals or working environment. Instead of using a polymer insert, the locking function is created by controlled thread deformation, top-lock structure or elliptical locking design.
Hextro supplies all-metal lock nuts in metric and inch sizes according to ISO 7042, DIN 980, drawings or samples. Common options include top-lock nuts, elliptical lock nuts, flange lock nuts and customized prevailing-torque nuts according to application requirements.
